PALEMBANG, SONORA -Dalam rangka menjalin silaturahmi sesama masyarakat dan merangkul generasi millenial agar kenal akan kebudayaan di kota Palembang, Dewan Kesenian Palembang (DKP) menggelar Sepekan Seni dengan tema Ekspresi dan Apresiasi, Guns Cafe, Senin (10/02).
Iqbal Rudianto selaku Ketua Dewan Kesenian Palembang menjelaskan, bahwa digelarnya kegiatan ini dalam rangka menampung atau mewadahi enam komite yang ada di DKP.
“Keenam komite yang kita wadahi tersebut diantaranya seni musik, tari, sastra, teater, film dan seni rupa,” katanya.
Ia menambahkan, bahwa arus globalisasi yang tidak terhindarkan lagi membuat budaya asing dengan mudah masuk di tengah-tengah kehidupan masyarakat.
“Oleh karena itu kegiatan kita harapkan supaya generasi millenial lebih mencintai dan mengenal kebudayaan peninggalan nenek moyang Kota Palembang yang sangat berharga,” tuturnya.
Iqbal berharap, seluruh generasi dapat terlibat langsung dalam kegiatan yang berlangsung selama satu Minggu ini.
“Untuk seluruh masyarakat Palembang kita himbau supaya bisa hadir langsung ke guns cafe untuk menikmati penampilan dari para seniman Kota Palembang, mengingat Pemerintah sudah mendukung penuh kegiatan ini, untuk itu sudah tugas besar kita semua dalam membangun Kesenian Palembang,” tutupnya
