Kapolda Sumsel Irjen Pol Drs. Priyo Widyanto M.M beserta rombongan melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Polres Banyuasin, Kamis (16/1).
Kapolda Sumsel dalam pelaksanaan kunjungan kerja tersebut didampingi juga oleh Ketua Bhayangkari Daerah Sumsel Ny.Yemmi Priyo.
Turut serta dalam rombongan kunjungan kerja Kapolda Sumsel ke Polres Banyuasin yaitu: Irwasda Sumsel Kombes Pol.Dody Marsidy CfRa. M.Hum. Kabid Propam Dedi Sopindi . S.H

Kedatangan Bapak Kapolda Sumsel dan rombongan di Mapolres Banyuasin disambut dengan pengalungan bunga oleh Pocil sebagai bentuk penghormatan atas kedatangan beliau di Mapolres Banyuasin selanjutnya jajar kehormatan kemudian rangkaian penyambutan pun dilanjutkan dengan sebuah tarian Sekapur Sirih oleh para penari sebagai ungkapan penyambutan dan ucapan selamat datang di bumi Sedulang Setudung oleh Kapolres Banyuasin dan Bupati Banyuasin H.Askolani Jasi S.H.,M.H Forkopimda Kabupaten Banyuasin dan anggota Mapolres Banyuasin. Kunjungan Kerja kali ini diharapkan dapat membangkitkan semangat para personil Polres Banyuasin dan meningkatkan kinerja serta kedisiplinan dalam pelaksanaan tugas kedepannya yg memiliki tantangan yg semakin berat agar terciptanya situasi dan kondisi yg kondusif di wilayah hukum polres banyuasin. Semoga diharapkan dengan semakin baiknya kinerja dari kepolisian akan semakin meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap Polri.
