PALEMBANG SONORA – Dengan diperpanjang dan diperluasnya kebijakan PSBB oleh pemerintah dan diberlakukannya secara ketat di beberapa daerah, maka kebutuhan akan layanan telekomunikasi diperkirakan akan semakin meningkat. Mengantisipasi hal ini, Smartfren meluncurkan dua Paket Unlimited terbaru pada tanggal 24 April 2020 di Jakarta.
Adapun kedua Paket Unlimited yang diluncurkan, yaitu Paket Unlimited 7GB seharga Rp20 ribu berlaku 7 hari dengan batas pemakaian wajar 1GB/hari dan Paket Unlimited 14GB seharga Rp40 ribu berlaku 14 hari dengan batas pemakaian wajar 1GB/hari. Kedua paket ini tersedia dalam voucher fisik dan dapat juga dibeli melalui aplikasi MySmartfren (MySf).
Kedua Paket Unlimited ini diharapkan bisa memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen untuk bekerja dan belajar dari rumah ataupun buat memenuhi kebutuhan berhubungan dengan keluarga di kampung melalui layanan video-call karena kendala tidak dapat balik saat musim mudik Lebaran kali ini. Hadir dengan pilihan durasi yang lengkap, paket Smartfren Unlimited sebenarnya memiliki banyak pilihan, mulai dari Paket harian seharga Rp9 ribu (1GB/hari, 1 hari), paket mingguan Rp20 ribu (1GB/hari, 7 hari), paket dwimingguan Rp40 ribu (1GB/hari, 14 hari), paket bulanan Rp50 ribu (500MB/hari, 28 hari), paket bulanan Rp75 ribu (1GB/hari, 28 hari) dan paket bulanan Rp100 ribu (1,5GB/hari, 28 hari).

Djoko Tata Ibrahim menambahkan paket unlimited terbaru dapat diperoleh di outlet-outlet terdekat, Galeri Smartfren dan melalui aplikasi MySmartfren. Paket Unlimited ini memiliki berbagai macam keuntungan, antara lain: 1. Bisa digunakan di semua aplikasi (chatting, gaming dan streaming), 2. Setelah mencapai batas pemakaian wajar harian (FUP), pelanggan masih bisa menikmati kecepatan internet dengan kecepatan 256kbps yang memungkinkan pelanggan tetap bisa browsing dan chatting termasuk kirim gambar, 3. Batas pemakaian wajar diperbarui setiap hari. Bagi yang tidak mudik pada Lebaran kali ini, pelanggan dapat memanfaatkan Paket Unlimited untuk bersilaturahmi dengan keluarga lewat Video Call dan juga bisa nelpon gratis ke sesama nomor Smartfren.
Jaringan Smartfen Siap Layani Pelanggan Selama Ramadan & Lebaran
Memasuki bulan Ramadan, Smartfren meyakinkan pelanggannya bahwa kualitas jaringan Smartfren dapat melayani pelanggan dengan baik, meski pada saat diberlakukannya WFH ada kenaikan sebesar 10 – 15% trafik layanan data. Menurut Munir Syahda Prabowo, VP Technology Relations Smartfren, Kenaikan trafik pada Ramadan dan Lebaran tahun ini diprediksi kurang lebih sama dengan Ramadan dan Lebaran tahun lalu. Hanya saja jika pelanggan Smartfren tidak melakukan mudik karena pandemi Covid-19, kemungkinan yang terjadi adalah konsentrasi penyebaran pengguna tidak terfokus hanya di beberapa kota tujuan mudik dan kenaikan trafik data mungkin bisa mencapai 20% karena peningkatan pengguna layanan video streaming, musik dan gaming.
Sebagai antisipasi terjadinya lonjakan trafik data, Smartfren telah mempersiapkan secara teknis maupun operasional perusahaan selama bulan Ramadan dan Lebaran. Smartfren memastikan kecukupan kapasitas dan kualitas jaringan, melakukan pengaturan route traffic, monitoring intensif dari Network Operation Center (NOC) selama 7×24 jam dan menyiagakan tim khusus untuk gerak cepat ke lapangan jika terjadi gangguan. Hal ini disiapkan demi memastikan kenyamanan pelanggan saat menggunakan layanan internet dari Smartfren.
