Kapolda Sumsel dalam amanatnya yang dibacakan Wakapolda berharap agar kita tidak under estimate terhadap perkembangan situasi baik politik, ekonomi, sosial budaya maupun keamanan dimana setiap perkembangan tentu harus dapat disikapi dengan matang dan tidak gegabah agar tidak menimbulkan kegaduhan terhadap kegiatan masyarakat. Usahakan tetap kita redam dan antisipasi sesegera mungkin dan tidak menimbulkan ancaman lainnya.
Lanjut dikatakan tetap jaga kekompakan TNI Polri dan instansi lainnya sehingga propinsi Sumatera Selatan dapat melaksanakan tugas pengamanan dengan aman, nyaman dan kondusif disertai kesiapan kekuatan personil baik TNI, Polri maupun pemerintah.
